This basement was used as a speakeasy during prohibition. The original bar sink, tap, and secret hooch storage were still there when we started this job. It was a completely unfinished basement with great head height—a rarity in Seattle basements. Following the trim and details from the main floor, this remodel doubled the homeowner’s living space.
